The Team Crew from Pilgrim Surf+Supply is a relaxed, oversized crewneck in a natural oatmeal tone. What sets it apart is the fabric: a tightly knitted cotton fleece made from 100% cotton grown by small-scale farmers in Zambia, produced through a traceability programme that lets you directly support the farming communities behind the garment — via a QR code on the inner tag, you choose which initiative to contribute to.

Founded in 2012 by Chris and Erin Gentile in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Pilgrim Surf + Supply brings surf and outdoor culture into conversation with art, music and design. The original shop was conceived as both a place to discover products and a meeting point for its community.

In 2015, Pilgrim expanded into a full clothing collection for men and women. Its partnership with BEAMS also brought the brand to Japan, with stores in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Pilgrim works with small factories and artisans, placing an emphasis on considered fabrics, construction and everyday utility. Its clothing carries that outlook beyond the shoreline, connecting life in the city with time spent outdoors.
