This necklace comes straight out of Kardo's approach to materials: instead of discarding the leftover fabric from their SS26 collection, they cut it into fine strips and hand-braid it into something you can actually wear. The result is textural and a little irregular, which is exactly the point — no two will be quite the same. It's made from start to finish by a single artisan, and that shows in how it feels.

Kardo is a New Delhi-based menswear brand founded in 2013 by Rikki Kher. Built on the belief that clothing should carry the imprint of the people who make it, Kardo brings together India's rich artisan textile heritage and contemporary menswear silhouettes — creating pieces that are as considered in their making as they are in their design.
