Santyuste Vino de Pueblo is a white wine produced by Esmeralda García in Santiuste de San Juan Bautista (Segovia), V.T. Castilla y León.

After finishing her studies and working in different wineries, Esmeralda García returned to her hometown, Santiuste de San Juan Bautista, to make her wines from old family vineyards located in this small municipality, in the heart of D.O. Rueda.Esmeralda García has just under 5 hectares of pre-phylloxera vineyards, aged between 140 and 210 years old, to make her range of natural wines, intimate and free, which reflect all the character and landscape of this area.

Santyuste Vino de Pueblo is a white wine made with Verdejo from vineyards that are between 140 and 200 years old. They are located on four different sites at around 800-850 metres of altitude, planted on calcareous, loamy-sandy soils with great depth.

The harvest is carried out manually. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they are gently pressed, and after a natural static settling process, the must ferments in stainless steel deposits with native yeasts. When the fermentation ends, the wine is left to stand for 3 months in stainless steel deposits with its fine lees. It is bottled without clarifying nor filtering and with no added sulphites.
